GPE celebrates topping out at The Courtyard, WC1
Great Portland Estates plc (GPE) has celebrated the topping out of The Courtyard, marking structural completion of its latest Fully Managed building, alongside partners including Mace and Deconstruct UK.
The Courtyard, at 1/3 Alfred Place, WC1, was the first acquisition following GPE's 2024 rights issue, supporting its strategy to expand its premium Fully Managed offering in central London. The building is being transformed into c.47,000 sq ft of premium Fully Managed workspace with retail space and best in class amenities, including a concierge, indoor courtyard garden, rooftop terrace and wellness facilities. Completion is expected in Q3 2027.
Located in the heart of Fitzrovia, close to Tottenham Court Road Elizabeth Line station, The Courtyard strengthens GPE's growing cluster in the area alongside 31/34 Alfred Place, The Alfred (formerly Whittington House), 10 South Crescent and The Gable.
The topping out of The Courtyard marks an important step in delivering one of our most exciting Fully Managed developments.
